Nasi lemak
I have passed by the place so many times that today I decided to give it a try. Crowded yes, waited for a long time yes. Once and for all, I ordered
1) Kerang (cockles) overcooked in rendang style
2) Chicken cooked in sambal tomato sauce (ayam masak merah) - not marinated long enough
3) Cuttlefish (sotong) (ok)
4) Water spinach (so so only)
5) Sambal prawn (too sweet and sambal not thick enough)
I saw a newspaper cutting saying that this place serves one of the best nasi lemak in Kuala Lumpur / Petaling Jaya (top five)
However, the taste does not match its ranking. Anyhow I will not return here again. There are better nasi lemaks out there.

In Singapore, not too hard to find good dim sum, it is cheap and good that's hard to find...hahaha...
So far, for cheap and good, I think Yan Palace get my vote. :)

I'm not crazy about song fish head, but I'm very particular about the food freshness & tastiness, esp for seafood, freshness is very important to me. ^o^

I think their high tea buffet is around $18+++ if not wrong. Unless one eats a lot, else might be cheaper to eat ala carte at yan palace or something.

If ya like song fish head, I think ya should give the one at Albert Street temporary food centre (next to bugis mrt) a try. When I pass by or grab my meals there, I always see old couples ordering the fish head there. :)
As for chinatown, there's so many stalls selling that dish, frankly, I'm not sure which is the best one there though :)
