Swiss German Sausage Bar

Posted by CyberTron on Sep 06, 2008 9:51PM
Was at Takashimaya today, and decided to check out this place.

Both my friend and me decided to order the set at $14, which comes with a sausage platter, a drink, and a choice to salad, soup or dessert. We had a clam chowder and a mango pudding. Actually, it was me who eat the clam chowder and pudding. :)

The sausage platter came with 3 sausages, 2 pork and 1 chicken and mash potato. The sausages were quite good, though I think I like the chicken one best (i think). The soup and mango pudding is just average.

Overall, food here is quite good, and price is average.

    Hey,

Both Ambush and Swiss are under the same management/owner.

You can order Ambush's spag and bring over to Swiss and vice versa. Do try their rosti.. not bad too.

Is diagonally opposite Jogoya. Supposedly the quality is better than Jogoya. Price wise, if we convert currency, then Malaysia is cheaper. If we do not convert currency, then Singapore is cheaper. Generally, a japanese buffet in Siingapore is around SGD30+ range.

I'm not sure exactly where the original Leong Kee moved to, but I believe the one at Sultan Gate is still there. I also saw one at junction of Jln Besar and Hindoo road. Just at the junction before beancurd city

hi! The bak kut teh at this place is Klang style. If you refering to the peppery style Bak Kut Teh you typically find in Singapore, then this is not the place for you. For the peppery style one, the famous ones are probably ones are Balestier Road or the one at Tanjong Pagar complex. For me, I usually just go to Song Fa at Rochor which is decent for me, and more convenient as well.
