Friend bought me a treat at this place for lunch last week.
I ordered a crayfish pasta while my friend ordered the fish and chicken combo ($18.50 each). We also top up $3.50 for the soup of the day, which was broccoli soup. We also ordered some cheese sticks to share.
First, I felt the soup was a bit thick. The cheese stick was just average. The portion of the mains is actually quite big, probably more suitable for dinner than lunch though. My crayfish pasta was actually quite interesting. The crayshell were de-shelled, and it make into a ball coated with a layer of cheese on the outside. While the crayfish was on a tomato sauce, the pasta was actually alio style. I tried some of the fish on my friend's combo, which was not bad as well.
After a 15% UOB discount, the bill came up to $51.50. Overall, I find the food quite decent, and price is probably around Pasta Cafe range.

One year agao, i went to the branch at Marina Square.
My wife brought some fresh food from the now closed down Giant at MS.
When we went in, the restaurant owner immediately offer to let us put the fresh food in their fridge.. talk about good service!
Maybe b'scos the owner was there, the service was tip top that day!
Food wise i prefer Ambush at Taka B2, but i will never forget the good service she provided.

I've never been to Chinatown food centre or Albert Street Temporary food centre so can't compare. Yup, it's "song fish head" steam with tau see style, and I love the pork lard on it, very crispy. ^o^

How is the fish steam head compared to the ones at Chinatown food centre or there's another stall in Albert Street Temporary food centre? The steam fish head is "song fish head" steam with tau see style?

I went to the tony roma's in singapore suntec city, the ribs is very nice & tender and the chocolate dessert is sinful! Dun like the corn soup though.

Overall plus the cendol. I like the sauce but the crushed peanuts spoiled it and the fried stuffs too plain.
