Shokudo Pasta & Pizza

Posted by CyberTron on May 16, 2008 9:26PM
Decided to give this place a try today as I believe it was opened probably just a month or so ago. This place supposedly serve japanese pasta and pizza. I've ordered the kaki & ham pasta, which is basically oyster and ham. Colleagues ordered a Kinoko Bacon Ham pasta and Shake & Horenso pasta. Well, I pretty enjoyed my pasta as it is not tomata or cream based, sort of like oilo style, but a little wet with gravy. Colleage did not finish her Kinoko Bacon was the cream sauce with tomato was a little too rich. Overall, I pretty enjoyed my pasta. However, I felt that the price at $14.80+++ was a little overpriced for the portion of the food given and the location. Since this place is frequented by mainly youngsters, I felt it should be priced more affordable at around $9.80+++. 3 pasta, nothing else, the bill came up to $52.25. I'll probably better off with 99cents sushi :)

I've never been to Chinatown food centre or Albert Street Temporary food centre so can't compare. Yup, it's "song fish head" steam with tau see style, and I love the pork lard on it, very crispy. ^o^

I went to the tony roma's in singapore suntec city, the ribs is very nice & tender and the chocolate dessert is sinful! Dun like the corn soup though.

Overall plus the cendol. I like the sauce but the crushed peanuts spoiled it and the fried stuffs too plain.
