Seafood shop near Otaru Music Box Museum @ Otaru, Hokkaido
3rd Hokkaido Review!
We went to Otaru Music Box Museum that day, and while walking to there, we passed by this seafood shop where a lady was bbqing seafood such as scallops and..huge escargots? man..it really smelled good, and we decided to give it a try...ordered one scallop (huge!) and one escargot (huge!huge!)... and we waited at one side... seemed like the shop was having good business, many pple were crowding ard it...
The scallop was pretty good, juicy and all... as for the escargot (assuming it is :P), well i have never been a fan of escargot as it is just weird to be eating snail? but this one, changed my perception totally... it was chewy and tasted heavenly... no unpleasant taste at all. the lady had cut up the flesh into smaller pieces... enough for 4 of us to try it out... at 500 yen(SGD $7.50) for it, i will say it is pretty worth it :) oh..and the scallop is only 100 yen(SGD $1.50)...
Oh, after that we were chewing on steamed corn, bought from the same shop... not bad too...kekke...
For now Im tagging 1 photo, have more photos on this which I will tag on later...
Ding Dong Ding Dong...oishi!!

Hi, saw that you've tried the Ayam Penyet Ria too, so which is better?

I've never been to Chinatown food centre or Albert Street Temporary food centre so can't compare. Yup, it's "song fish head" steam with tau see style, and I love the pork lard on it, very crispy. ^o^

How is the fish steam head compared to the ones at Chinatown food centre or there's another stall in Albert Street Temporary food centre? The steam fish head is "song fish head" steam with tau see style?

I went to the tony roma's in singapore suntec city, the ribs is very nice & tender and the chocolate dessert is sinful! Dun like the corn soup though.

Yup, the roast pork is super nice, & it sold out very fast, the lunch hour is 1130am to 230pm and the roast pork sold out at around 1pm.

Overall plus the cendol. I like the sauce but the crushed peanuts spoiled it and the fried stuffs too plain.
