Scoopz @ Parkway Parade
Everytime we came to Parkway Parade, it is a MUST for us to treat ourselves to an ice cream from Scoopz, a must-have delight for us...
Heard that Scoopz has been here for a looonnggg time, maybe way before low-fat ice cream like Gelare became popular here. The ice cream were handmade, smoother than normal ice cream.
We ordered our favourite rum and raisin as usual. It has been a long time since we last ate Scoopz's ice cream, and it is still so good. The raisin serving was generous and mixed well into the ice cream. The rum taste was strong and fantastic... and the feeling of biting into the ice cream, heavenly...Some other well-known ice cream shops sell higher for a single scoop, and it may just be a small scoop in a cup... but at Scoopz, you get a big scoop at $2.90 on a crispy waffle cone, pretty reasonable...all thumbs up!

Ya, it's seems that the rum & raisin always run out of stock, on my 3rd & 4th times there the rum & raisin was sold out too.

It's my 4th time there today but found that the standard for the durian and vanilla ice cream has dropped, not as delicious as we had tried last few times.

Just went to try it today with my family, super nice! My parents love the rum & raisin, my brother always prefer chocolate flavour, my hubby like the vanilla flavour & my favourite is still the durian flavour, it taste heavenly! The mocha is not bad too but dun really like the mint flavour.

My last 2 trips there this year was kinda disappointing as well. First time, somewhere near CNY, a lot of seafood was sold out, even the beer! Thought cos we were there late, so the next time we decided to get there earlier, and this time, the crab where sold out!
Service was also very slow and not enuff people to serve the customers.
Food wise, I think price is still ok, but I think the food is not longer as good as when it was less well known.... planning to try senibong next round...

Have not been to Jogoya before, but I've been to the Gonbei opposite. Priced similarly to Jogoya if not wrong, and I thought the service and food was pretty good.

I went with 7 adults and 1 kid, we spent less than $120. I would safely hazard a guess of $18 - $25 per person, depending on how hungry you get. Real value for money for quality food.

Is diagonally opposite Jogoya. Supposedly the quality is better than Jogoya. Price wise, if we convert currency, then Malaysia is cheaper. If we do not convert currency, then Singapore is cheaper. Generally, a japanese buffet in Siingapore is around SGD30+ range.
