Back here at Golden Mile food centre for our dinner today again. Today, we decided to check out this newly open Roc Pizza that was recently featured.
When we were there around 7, I think there's only 1 or 2 tables eating the pizza. We ordered a chicken sausage and a ham and cheese ($6 each).
While we were waiting for our pizza, we could see the person rolling the dough, putting the ingredients and baking the pizza. Personally, I find the whole process kind of slow, and the pizza is prepared one by one, instead of a few concurrent at one time. So the wait can be long to wait for ya pizza actually. hmm... I thought it took much longer than waiting for our claypot rice on Monday.
Anyway, after a pretty long wait, our pizzas are finally here. Personally, I'm not sure if authentic italian pizza are supposed to be like that. I've never been to Italy. The closest I know is when my ex-boss (who's a Italian), brought me to Al Forno at East Coast which he says serves pretty authentic Italian food.
The dough is really thin, so thin is sort of crispy like crackers you get in the indian restaurant. The ingredients aren't that special, which taste pretty normal to me, tomato sauce, mushroom, chicken sausages or ham. Personally, I'm not sure how many would be full with just a $6 pizza. I was joking to my friend her brother could probably finish 4, and she replied probably at least 5. hahahahaha
Overall, I feel really nothing special about the pizza here other than the crispy thin crust (I'll just go downstairs indian stall to get one of their crackers instead) and definitely not a value for money and the long wait either. If I really need to get a pizza fix at that price, maybe my stomach is fuller buy getting a slice of pizza from Sarpino's instead, and probably taste better too. Guess unless I feel rich, I don't think I will be going back there anytime soon. BTW, the western food behind sells half a spring chicken set for just $4.

Hi, saw that you've tried the Ayam Penyet Ria too, so which is better?

I've never been to Chinatown food centre or Albert Street Temporary food centre so can't compare. Yup, it's "song fish head" steam with tau see style, and I love the pork lard on it, very crispy. ^o^

How is the fish steam head compared to the ones at Chinatown food centre or there's another stall in Albert Street Temporary food centre? The steam fish head is "song fish head" steam with tau see style?

I went to the tony roma's in singapore suntec city, the ribs is very nice & tender and the chocolate dessert is sinful! Dun like the corn soup though.

Yup, the roast pork is super nice, & it sold out very fast, the lunch hour is 1130am to 230pm and the roast pork sold out at around 1pm.

Overall plus the cendol. I like the sauce but the crushed peanuts spoiled it and the fried stuffs too plain.

Why the food rating is only 2 stars if it's nearly the best mee rebus you've tried?
