One of our colleagues suggested going to this place for buffet dim sum last month. Decided to check this out for lunch today. The lunch dim sum buffet for weekdays is going for $12.90+++ and $15.90+++ for weekends.
When we arrive, the place was probably around 70-80% occupied. As we made prior reservation, we were shown our table immediately. Hurried, we took our orders. However, getting the waitress attention at this place can be challenging. Even though the place is not that pack, there's very few waitress serving all the tables there.
Food wise, I think it is a hit or miss. Some are pretty good, while some aren't as good. Those aren't as good are probably the cheong fun and har gaw, where both the skin is a bit too thick, same goes for the xiao long bao. The char siew bao and char siew shu was pretty decent, and my friend enjoys the chicken feet though. Some of the other dim sum are pretty good too, just that I dun remember what is the actual name :) .
Overall, I feel the food is probably average. For those who dun eat a lot, I would suggest going for Yan Palace, which you probably pay the same price or less (if compared to weekends). But for those who want to eat all they can, this might be a decent choice.

Hi, saw that you've tried the Ayam Penyet Ria too, so which is better?

I've never been to Chinatown food centre or Albert Street Temporary food centre so can't compare. Yup, it's "song fish head" steam with tau see style, and I love the pork lard on it, very crispy. ^o^

How is the fish steam head compared to the ones at Chinatown food centre or there's another stall in Albert Street Temporary food centre? The steam fish head is "song fish head" steam with tau see style?

I went to the tony roma's in singapore suntec city, the ribs is very nice & tender and the chocolate dessert is sinful! Dun like the corn soup though.

Overall plus the cendol. I like the sauce but the crushed peanuts spoiled it and the fried stuffs too plain.
