Vegetarian never tasted so good.
Think vegetarian food consists of your usual floury duck, chicken, mutton & prawn? Sick of eating boring gluten all the time? Then head right over to Peach Garden @ 33rd & let them whip up tasty, light dishes for you.
Spinach & mushrooms stirfried in garlic & wine.
Tofu, chinese cabbage & black fungus stewed in a rich sauce with a hint of fermented beancurd to add that extra kick. That was the best part of the meal.
Vermicelli & bittergourd stirfried with ground black pepper.
And finish off with a pretty mango pudding!
I will never look at vegetarian food the same way again.
Peach Garden @ 33rd also serves other delicious meat & seafood dishes, but since I had to eat vegetarian today, I'll review those another time : ) Meantime, these are the things you may safely enjoy.

Hmmm stick to the vegetarian ... Personally I thought the food at Peach Garden 33 was sub standard ... I prefer the Novena branch.
All the pork dim sum stuff had a very strong porky smell.
The eefu noodles I had was extremely oily
And the har gow wasn't impressive at all.
Perhaps their dishes are better because when I ate at the Novena branch, I was happy with their food.

Hehehe, I can only review the things I happened to try there. I love the meat & seafood dishes too, but the pics have been erased so I didn't write a review on those.
By the way CyberTron, I went to Gourmet Plus for breakfast this morning & asked if they have any cranberry jams. Alas, they don't sell it. I'll ask if I happen to chance upon a cafe that may have it, ok? : )

Is diagonally opposite Jogoya. Supposedly the quality is better than Jogoya. Price wise, if we convert currency, then Malaysia is cheaper. If we do not convert currency, then Singapore is cheaper. Generally, a japanese buffet in Siingapore is around SGD30+ range.

I'm not sure exactly where the original Leong Kee moved to, but I believe the one at Sultan Gate is still there. I also saw one at junction of Jln Besar and Hindoo road. Just at the junction before beancurd city

hi!
The bak kut teh at this place is Klang style. If you refering to the peppery style Bak Kut Teh you typically find in Singapore, then this is not the place for you.
For the peppery style one, the famous ones are probably ones are Balestier Road or the one at Tanjong Pagar complex. For me, I usually just go to Song Fa at Rochor which is decent for me, and more convenient as well.

I don't remember if i'd ever come across cheap and nice seafood in KL...I suggest you to plan a trip to Sabah, that's really what I call heaven for seafood lovers. ;-)
