As I continue my day 2 "raid" on Zion Road today, was glad the prawn noodle where was opened today! When I was there around 7+ today, there're 2 long queues of around 6 - 8 people each at two stalls. No need to guess one will probably know where these queues going to. Yes, one on each side of the food center, one to the char kway teow, and one to this prawn noodle. :)
It's been a long time since I come here, and the last time when I was here, I remembered the prawn noodle here was actually pretty good. Price per bowl of prawn noodle here goes for $5, $6, $8, $10, $12 and $15. Given the greedy me, I decided to go for the $10 one while my friend went with the $5 version. :) heh heh heh... Actualy, there seems to be crab too, as I see them displayed at the stall, but never asked how much though. (So those who have tried the crab version, is it good? )
For the $10 portion, the prawn is definitely very big! If not wrong, I got 4 pieces (2 prawns) of prawns. However, I think I only got 1 or 2 pieces of pork ribs. A slight different from other prawn noodle is this comes with slices of fish cake too, which I believe those like the one in East Coast or Whitley road do not have. The soup for the prawn noodle is pretty good too, but I'm not sure if it is better or worse than the one in Adam Road though. However, for the $5 portion which my friend ordered, I find the prawn is smaller compared to the other stalls like the Whitley Road one though.
Overall, I think this is another pretty good prawn noodle stall. For me, given a choice to queue, I actually prefer to queue for this than the char kway teow though. :) So what about you?

Is diagonally opposite Jogoya. Supposedly the quality is better than Jogoya. Price wise, if we convert currency, then Malaysia is cheaper. If we do not convert currency, then Singapore is cheaper. Generally, a japanese buffet in Siingapore is around SGD30+ range.

I'm not sure exactly where the original Leong Kee moved to, but I believe the one at Sultan Gate is still there. I also saw one at junction of Jln Besar and Hindoo road. Just at the junction before beancurd city

hi!
The bak kut teh at this place is Klang style. If you refering to the peppery style Bak Kut Teh you typically find in Singapore, then this is not the place for you.
For the peppery style one, the famous ones are probably ones are Balestier Road or the one at Tanjong Pagar complex. For me, I usually just go to Song Fa at Rochor which is decent for me, and more convenient as well.

I don't remember if i'd ever come across cheap and nice seafood in KL...I suggest you to plan a trip to Sabah, that's really what I call heaven for seafood lovers. ;-)
