日本屋合村 Nippon Yataimura
Even though slightly isolated, next to Jusco foodcourt (near to car park exit) is a Japanese restaurant called Nippon Yataimura 日本屋合村. Yataimura 合村 means whole village. It is wholly owned by Oh Sushi Two (M) Sdn. Bhd. and should have some outlets in Kuala Lumpur as well. I visited this restaurant in one Tuesday and surprisingly there are only few customers there. During Friday lunch hour, you may ended up queuing out there.
The ambient is nice as each dining table is surrounded by fake bamboo so that you have more privacy there. There are lanterns installed on the roof as well. The service is slightly poorer as I enter without people entertaining. I sit there waited for few minutes and there is still no people coming to take order. Eventually I walked to the counter and asked for it. I ordered “Half Ramen & Temaki Combo” which served with a bowl of ramen (very small), chawanmushi, salad, California temaki, unagi temaki, and fruit. Not much special compared to the one I ordered at kissA Koyotei. Sushi is also just average. There is even one sashimi set costs RM116.
When I made payment that time, the cashier received a call from his cellular and he actually accepted it and talked to the phone while entertaining me… what a multitasking manager (who else dare enough to talk to the phone like that).
One highlight is its dessert - Chocolate Parfait. It is a huge glass topped with ice-cream, a slice of mint sponge cake and a cone. Bottom you have cornflakes, jelly, nata de coco, vanilla cream, and etc. It costs about RM14.00++ but will make your girl happy and your stomach full for a while.
As a whole, the ambient is nice but the service could be better.

My last 2 trips there this year was kinda disappointing as well. First time, somewhere near CNY, a lot of seafood was sold out, even the beer! Thought cos we were there late, so the next time we decided to get there earlier, and this time, the crab where sold out!
Service was also very slow and not enuff people to serve the customers.
Food wise, I think price is still ok, but I think the food is not longer as good as when it was less well known.... planning to try senibong next round...

Have not been to Jogoya before, but I've been to the Gonbei opposite. Priced similarly to Jogoya if not wrong, and I thought the service and food was pretty good.

I went with 7 adults and 1 kid, we spent less than $120. I would safely hazard a guess of $18 - $25 per person, depending on how hungry you get. Real value for money for quality food.

Is diagonally opposite Jogoya. Supposedly the quality is better than Jogoya. Price wise, if we convert currency, then Malaysia is cheaper. If we do not convert currency, then Singapore is cheaper. Generally, a japanese buffet in Siingapore is around SGD30+ range.
