Was wandering around Prinsep Street decided what to have for dinner today, and then suddenly noticed this restaurant opposite at Paradizz Centre with this bright red facade and with "Mad and Wild Aussie Xperience" on the signboard, decided to go over to check it out. Looking at the menu, the price where pretty reasonable, decided to check out this place.
From the look flowers outside the restaurant, it seems the place just open probably just a few days or something. Service by the waitress there was very good, and she explained how to order and pay at the counter first, similar to Cafe Cartel at Plaza Singapura.
I ordered a lamb chop ($11.90), a mad and rich dessert ($.590) and a juice ($4.00). There's no service charge, just GST, total bill came up to $23.30.
The drink has a nice name called Cholestrol Buster. :) Is is a mixture of green apple, celery and I think cucumber and something else. At $4, I think is a bit pricey for the juice though.
The lamb chop came with 3 pretty big pieces of lamp, whip potota and a piece of corn. The lamp chop have a layer of fat, so for those on healthy diet might want to take note. I personally loves the fat :P though I try not to have that too often. I find the lamb chop a bit tough though, but the price is definitely very good.
After my main came the dessert. Supposedly called Mad and Rich. Supposedly a must try for all chocolate lover. Well, I love chocolate, so I definitely love this! Personally, if the cake is warmed up a bit more, I think it would be even better.
Overall, this place seems pretty nice and cosy, and price wise, other than the juice, I felt it was pretty reasonable compare to other similar restaurants like Cafe Cartel, etc. Well, hopefully when the place settles down, the food will get even better.

Is diagonally opposite Jogoya. Supposedly the quality is better than Jogoya. Price wise, if we convert currency, then Malaysia is cheaper. If we do not convert currency, then Singapore is cheaper. Generally, a japanese buffet in Siingapore is around SGD30+ range.

I'm not sure exactly where the original Leong Kee moved to, but I believe the one at Sultan Gate is still there. I also saw one at junction of Jln Besar and Hindoo road. Just at the junction before beancurd city

hi!
The bak kut teh at this place is Klang style. If you refering to the peppery style Bak Kut Teh you typically find in Singapore, then this is not the place for you.
For the peppery style one, the famous ones are probably ones are Balestier Road or the one at Tanjong Pagar complex. For me, I usually just go to Song Fa at Rochor which is decent for me, and more convenient as well.
