Hooters Singapore

Posted by CyberTron on Oct 03, 2008 3:06PM
Came here for dinner today as one of my friends was craving for buffalo wings. According another friend, this place is well know for their buffalo wings.

We ordered 10 chicken wings ($9.90), pork ribs ($25.90) and 1/2 chicken ($18.90) to share for the 4 of us. Inclusive of drinks ($4.30 each), the bill came up to $84.65, which I felt was a little expensive.

If you are expecting the buffalo wings here to be like those you find in Buckaroo or Jerry BBQ, then you will be disappointed. The chicken wings taste like originary fried chicken wings elsewhere, and one of my friends commented the mac wings at McDonald 's actually taste better. We ordered half medium and half hot, and the hot was not really that spicy. The pork ribs was quite ok, though I find the chicken a bit on the dry side.

Overall, I find the food here just normal and kind of expensive, unless your aim is just to look at the hooters girls there. My friend left this place with her craving for buffalo wings not satisfied.

Is diagonally opposite Jogoya. Supposedly the quality is better than Jogoya. Price wise, if we convert currency, then Malaysia is cheaper. If we do not convert currency, then Singapore is cheaper. Generally, a japanese buffet in Siingapore is around SGD30+ range.

I'm not sure exactly where the original Leong Kee moved to, but I believe the one at Sultan Gate is still there. I also saw one at junction of Jln Besar and Hindoo road. Just at the junction before beancurd city

hi! The bak kut teh at this place is Klang style. If you refering to the peppery style Bak Kut Teh you typically find in Singapore, then this is not the place for you. For the peppery style one, the famous ones are probably ones are Balestier Road or the one at Tanjong Pagar complex. For me, I usually just go to Song Fa at Rochor which is decent for me, and more convenient as well.

I don't remember if i'd ever come across cheap and nice seafood in KL...I suggest you to plan a trip to Sabah, that's really what I call heaven for seafood lovers. ;-)
