One of the famous bak kut teh in Singapore. On the walls of this little restaurant, you will pictures of the owner taken with lots of celebrities from all over hong kong, taiwan, etc.
This place sells the clear peppery soup version of the bak kut teh. As this place opens till 3am at night, so if you do not know where to go for ya late night supper, you can give this a try.

wow! didn't know this place been around for 20 years! Well, cos when we were there, we were sort of expecting someone to come and take our orders for our food like most zi char place. So after sitting there for a couple of minutes, and it seems like nothing is happening, we went over to the stall to get our orders taken.

hmm.... i think i know this... somehow, though I like satay, I dun quite like satay bee hoon. The smell is a bit too strong for me, but one of my friends love it.
I think there's a bak kut teh there also which opens during lunch and is pretty good too.

My friend seems to love this place. We've been coming to this place once a week, for the consecutive 3 weeks. :)
Wanted to try this curry fish delight today, but was sold out. Ended up my friend ordered the char kway teow, while I try out the Penang bee hoon mee. We also ordered a mango salad to share, and of cos, I ordered my favourite belachan chicken wing. :)
The bee hoon mee is quite nice, sort of taste a bit like the malaysia black hokkien mee style or something. Comes with fish and prawn. The fish was quite nice actually. As for the mango salad, if ya like ya mango sour, this might suit ya taste. Actually, it taste a bit sour at first to me, but after awhile when I got used to the sour taste, it actually tasted pretty good.
