Crazy Ang Mo @ Bishan

Crazy Ang Mo @ Bishan

one of my favourite western food dinner places...i even preferred crazy ang mo to botak jones...so far the food we tried are pretty ok...for this dinner trip, we had the aussie steak and the cheese burger with chips...think the burger costed $5.90 and steak costed $13.90..

the burger was juicy and neither too dry nor hard...the french fries are a bit on the salty side...a lot of it too! as for the steak, i ordered medium-rare...it was a bit tough on the sides, but the middle part is pretty tender...will say that the side is done to medium-well whereas the middle part is done to medium..hahaha...the whipped potato was good, better than Aston Express's...salad comes with a piece of beetroot as well...not a fan of beetroot, so too bad for me...

sadly, cos that day we had dinner kind of late at ard 8 plus, their desserts were sold out...so i did not get to eat my banana pudding :( my favourite dessert there...

oh as for the crazy ang mo Paul Crinis, he's pretty friendly...will recommend you to try something if he sees you in dilemma...hhaha...even let you try a bit of the side dishes if you can't make up your mind which to choose...

Crazy Ang Mo is not related to Aston Express, but I believe they are pretty same in concept. If not wrong, Crazy Ang Mo is started by an Australian.

I've been to the crazy ang mo at bukit batok recently, the cashier was quite unfriendly and the deep fried chicken wings was not good, it seems that they never change the oil for quite some time.

I've never been to Chinatown food centre or Albert Street Temporary food centre so can't compare. Yup, it's "song fish head" steam with tau see style, and I love the pork lard on it, very crispy. ^o^

I went to the tony roma's in singapore suntec city, the ribs is very nice & tender and the chocolate dessert is sinful! Dun like the corn soup though.

Overall plus the cendol. I like the sauce but the crushed peanuts spoiled it and the fried stuffs too plain.
