Cheesecake @ Hilton Hotel

curious abt how good is the cheesecake here, went down to Hilton with colleagues to try it out...saw on the internet that ST rated the cheesecake as no.5 of the top 50 cakes in singapore, must be pretty good!... so reached there, colleague snapped pics of almost all the cakes there....chose our cakes...and sat down in the comfy chairs and wait... i ordered american cheesecake, my all-time favourite choice of cheesecake, whereas my colleagues ordered an oreo cheesecake and a walnut cheesecake...cake came and i took my first small nibble....hmmm not bad...took one more mouth....pretty good i must say....taste is right feeling is right the crust at the bottom is right....now i need to get a piece of coffee bean's soon as i can't decide which is better...hahah...

I think there is a difference when eat there and take away. I remember seeing the price to be $6.95 - 7+ for take away. I checked my bill just now, the cake is $9.50, as we ate there. There's supposedly a high tea buffet available for $25++. There's also 10% for Citibank Visa card holder (Not sure applicable to take away though)

Is diagonally opposite Jogoya. Supposedly the quality is better than Jogoya. Price wise, if we convert currency, then Malaysia is cheaper. If we do not convert currency, then Singapore is cheaper. Generally, a japanese buffet in Siingapore is around SGD30+ range.

I'm not sure exactly where the original Leong Kee moved to, but I believe the one at Sultan Gate is still there. I also saw one at junction of Jln Besar and Hindoo road. Just at the junction before beancurd city

hi! The bak kut teh at this place is Klang style. If you refering to the peppery style Bak Kut Teh you typically find in Singapore, then this is not the place for you. For the peppery style one, the famous ones are probably ones are Balestier Road or the one at Tanjong Pagar complex. For me, I usually just go to Song Fa at Rochor which is decent for me, and more convenient as well.
