Cedele - Bakery Depot
Here's something different, especially if you've got a sweet tooth.
Located right next to Gourmet Plus, Bakery Depot holds its own amidst other very popular cafes & restaurants such as Baba Inn, Blue Lobster & Swiss Bakerie. It has just undergone a renovation & boasts a spanking new counter & glass doors.
The cakes, are too die for!
I tried the pumpkin soup first, which was smooth & creamy yet surprisingly light & frothy. Either the food I've tried & reviewed is good or I'm a glutton because I finished it all too.
Next up were the chocolate maki cake (don't ask me why it's called that). Because of the calories it packs, a slice was shared by 5 people & it was gone in a matter of seconds. This was tough to beat, or so we thought.
Until we had the chocolate truffle & mmmmmmmmMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmm it felt like I'd just visited Paradise. It was that good. The chocolate was smooth & rich, & the biscuit base provided that chewy extra bite. My word, it was bloody marvellous.
And of course, Nothing like a cup of decent cafe au lait to wash everything down.

There used to be a branch at Republic Plaza, but I'm not sure if it's still there. I'll keep an eye out for cranberry jam for you, even if I'm not exactly crazy about it myself :P Just the 1 Cedele uses or any good 1 will do?

At my old office at Temasek Tower used to have a Cedele Depot, which now moved. I simply love their sandwiches especially their rosemary chicken sandwich! I've been searching high and low for the cranberry jam they used to the sandwich but can't seem to find them anywhere :( . I think Cedele Depot makes really healthy sandwiches and really great tasting. I love their different bread selections too! Their soup was great and I remember their cheesecakes was also yummy :)

I've never been to Chinatown food centre or Albert Street Temporary food centre so can't compare. Yup, it's "song fish head" steam with tau see style, and I love the pork lard on it, very crispy. ^o^

How is the fish steam head compared to the ones at Chinatown food centre or there's another stall in Albert Street Temporary food centre? The steam fish head is "song fish head" steam with tau see style?

I went to the tony roma's in singapore suntec city, the ribs is very nice & tender and the chocolate dessert is sinful! Dun like the corn soup though.

Yup, the roast pork is super nice, & it sold out very fast, the lunch hour is 1130am to 230pm and the roast pork sold out at around 1pm.

Overall plus the cendol. I like the sauce but the crushed peanuts spoiled it and the fried stuffs too plain.
