Buckaroo BBQ & Grill @ Andrews Avenue (near Bottle Tree Park at Sembawang)
Buckaroo is a restaurant near the road to Bottle Tree Park at Sembawang. Situated in the middle of privates houses and condos, it was like a food paradise in the middle of nowhere... and well-known too, judging by the number of pple on its waiting list when we reached there on saturday ard 7 plus...
We waited for ard 10 minutes for an empty table, acceptable time. Ordered the mushroom soup and half a dozen of the buffalo wings (level 1), which is one of the popular choices on the menu. You can choose different degree of spiciness, starting from level 1 up to level 10. Think the last time I came here with my colleagues, they ordered level 10 to challenge one other. My goodness, it was so spicy I wonder if it could burn a hole in my stomach...I only tasted a bit with no biting, and was already gobbling down a glass of water to save my tongue...
The soup was served in a round bread, and geez...it was delicious, and the bread goes very well with the soup. As for the wings, level 1 is just slightly spicy which is fine by me. The wings are yummy and the sauce is unique and suit my taste. bf also felt that the sauce was different, but he did not like the soury taste and the chilli oil. He enjoyed the soup more, which he managed to finish till the bread "bowl" was all dry...
Other good dishes are the onion rings and the mushroom, worth giving a try. Basically, Buckaroo is a place worth driving down for dinner...looking at the number of cars parked opposite the restaurant, guess many people felt the same way too...Oh btw, there is no gst no service charge, and beers are ard 8 bucks... and not forgetting "free" parkings...best!

I love their deep fried button mushroom! Is a must have!!
Actually, finding parking can be a bit tough there even though it is free.

Is diagonally opposite Jogoya. Supposedly the quality is better than Jogoya. Price wise, if we convert currency, then Malaysia is cheaper. If we do not convert currency, then Singapore is cheaper. Generally, a japanese buffet in Siingapore is around SGD30+ range.

I'm not sure exactly where the original Leong Kee moved to, but I believe the one at Sultan Gate is still there. I also saw one at junction of Jln Besar and Hindoo road. Just at the junction before beancurd city

hi!
The bak kut teh at this place is Klang style. If you refering to the peppery style Bak Kut Teh you typically find in Singapore, then this is not the place for you.
For the peppery style one, the famous ones are probably ones are Balestier Road or the one at Tanjong Pagar complex. For me, I usually just go to Song Fa at Rochor which is decent for me, and more convenient as well.

I don't remember if i'd ever come across cheap and nice seafood in KL...I suggest you to plan a trip to Sabah, that's really what I call heaven for seafood lovers. ;-)
