It's a birthday celebration !
Today is my sis's birthday and by the norm we went to have dinner together with good friends.
It's also a salvation day (been a poor student who can't afford a decent dinner in Hanabi :P)
And when it comes to good dinner, i would always suggest BUFFET ! EAT ALL YOU CAN !! (Ahem..i am a big eater here). This restaurant offers an a-la-carte buffet style and the it serves a big variety of food like sushi, shasimi, grilled seafood,deep-fried cuisine and jap noodles.
Sashimi :
Among the food, the best serving goes to sahsimi which is my favourite..they are freshly prepared and u wouldn't say no to a second plate.
Grilled cuisine :
The grilled cuisine is average, partly due to the fact that i had eaten 3 plates of sahsimi before having the cuisine but the grilled salmon is as fine as the other restaurant's.
Udon :
And not forgetting about the noodles..UDON!..it came just at the right time when i got almost chocked by all the 'fish' (greedy to had ordered that much fish, both raw and grilled).. and the soup is tasty as well ,so as the miso soup.
Sushi :
Sorry i have no comment about the sushi as i don't eat them.
Dessert :
I would say it's the reason i would vote for kushinbo instead of Hanabi. The main course is simply too rich without some desserts like fruits..etc
Overall, the food and the service (not VERY GOOD though) deserve the price as the environment plays an important role for couples who wanna enjoy a romantic dinner in VivoCity which has a panaromic view (u can see the bridge to sentosa island and u should be able to picture the beauty of the nightview, if u don't u should go n have an evening walk there ! )

Went to these place with my brother and family around May this year. I would say the environment is pretty good, and the selection of the buffet is actually quite huge too. Food wise is not bad compared to other japanese buffet of the same range. Children below 5 also get to eat for free at this place.

Hi, saw that you've tried the Ayam Penyet Ria too, so which is better?

I've never been to Chinatown food centre or Albert Street Temporary food centre so can't compare. Yup, it's "song fish head" steam with tau see style, and I love the pork lard on it, very crispy. ^o^

How is the fish steam head compared to the ones at Chinatown food centre or there's another stall in Albert Street Temporary food centre? The steam fish head is "song fish head" steam with tau see style?

I went to the tony roma's in singapore suntec city, the ribs is very nice & tender and the chocolate dessert is sinful! Dun like the corn soup though.

Yup, the roast pork is super nice, & it sold out very fast, the lunch hour is 1130am to 230pm and the roast pork sold out at around 1pm.

Overall plus the cendol. I like the sauce but the crushed peanuts spoiled it and the fried stuffs too plain.
