Came here for dinner on Friday as my colleague been waiting to go for steamboat earlier part of the week. When we were there, there's a few people waiting to be seated.
The waitress offered us a seat inside if we do not mind. That seems like a wrong move, as it was pretty warm and stuffy inside. This is the reason most of the people there rather wait then to take up the empty seat inside the restaurant. Anyway, the way it works is you first pay up at the cashier, only then u will be given the chopsticks. I'm not sure what happens if you drop ya chopsticks though. Anyway, price is $15 per pax flat, no additional charges for soup, etc. Though there's no drinks included nor desserts, it does have free flow of water melon though. Overall, there's quite a few selection of mushrooms there (my favourite), from the needle, to the abalone mushroom, etc. There's also the usual meats and seafood as well. The tom yam and chicken soup we ordered were also good.
Overall, I won't say is great food, but is probably pretty good value for money (due to lots of competition around that area) if ya eat a lot.

I've never been to Chinatown food centre or Albert Street Temporary food centre so can't compare. Yup, it's "song fish head" steam with tau see style, and I love the pork lard on it, very crispy. ^o^

How is the fish steam head compared to the ones at Chinatown food centre or there's another stall in Albert Street Temporary food centre? The steam fish head is "song fish head" steam with tau see style?

I went to the tony roma's in singapore suntec city, the ribs is very nice & tender and the chocolate dessert is sinful! Dun like the corn soup though.

Yup, the roast pork is super nice, & it sold out very fast, the lunch hour is 1130am to 230pm and the roast pork sold out at around 1pm.

Overall plus the cendol. I like the sauce but the crushed peanuts spoiled it and the fried stuffs too plain.
